More Than String

Hello chicas! There’s a growing demand for these cute and simple bracelets; I’m sure you’ve seen them around somewhere at stores and boutiques. Pura Vida Bracelets are great for everyday and fresa-usable. PLUS, there is a great story behind these bracelets. When I visited Costa Rica, everyone greeted each other by saying. “Pura Vida”. I speak Spanish so, this phrase was odd because normally it is said, “Vida Pura”, which means pure life, but not in Costa Rica. Pura Vida in Costa Rica means more. It means “enjoying life slowly, celebrating good fortune and not taking anything for granted” (Pura Vida- Our Story). I think this personality is found in most fresas, easy style with a Hispanic twist to it.
This bracelet business started when two tourists found Jorge, the maker of the bracelets, selling them and asked him to make 400 to take bring to the United States. Some of the bracelets were placed in a boutique and were sold quickly and demand grew. The two tourists called Jorge and began a business with him. The purpose behind the bracelets is to give artisans in Costa Rica jobs and they also started a mission to preserve the beaches and oceans worldwide. All in all, Pura Vida Bracelets has a really neat story behind it and the bracelets are really cute to wear! Get them. Stack them on your wrist!
